Barbadian citizens – living in Barbados or abroad – and permanent residents of Barbados may purchase up to $100,000 ($200,000 for two persons purchasing jointly) in each series. Credit unions, registered charities and friendly societies are also eligible to purchase savings bonds up to $100,000 per series.
Persons who have purchased from previous series, even those who purchased the maximum in those series, are still eligible to buy savings bonds from GBSB 85/2017 and GBSB 86/2017 as the $100,000 limit ($200,000 for joint holders) is per series.(Click here to download an application form.)
