The Central Bank of Barbados today announced that the licence of Keywest Swiss Investment Bank Inc., an offshore bank in operation in Barbados since 1995, has been revoked.
The Bank said that the licence was rescinded in accordance with the International Financial Services Act, 2002.
The revocation took effect on August 22, 2002, and the Central Bank has assumed management and control of the entity.
