The world faces several economic issues that threaten to escalate hardships and poverty among the most vulnerable and test traditional economic management. These risks, coupled with growing concerns about the race against time to address climate change, are posing what economists describe as the world's polycrises.
The convergence of these issues makes it more difficult for policymakers as they require new and different approaches to economic management.
