A member of the Certified General Accountant Association of Canada (CGA), now, Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) he has more than 40 years of experience in planning, leading and executing audit, accounting and financial assignments across multiple sectors and industries for small, medium, and large entities locally, regionally, and internationally.
From 1982 to 2021, Mr. Edghill worked at KPMG, becoming an Audit Partner of the Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean practice in 1997. During that time, he led and conducted audits and issued audit opinions for entities in the financial services sector including banks, insurance companies, and credit unions., He held several positions in that organisation, including Head of Audit, Financial Services Practice Leader, Senior Manager, and Audit Manager.
Mr. Edghill holds an MBA in Finance from York University’s Schulich School of Business and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB). He previously served on the Council of ICAB, acting as the Chairman of its Audit and Accounting Standards Committee.
