Jared Wright is the Senior Vice President & Head of the Massy Integrated Retail Portfolio (IRP)Barbados where he is ultimately responsible for the strategic oversight, leadership and performance of Integrated Retail Portfolio companies in Barbados. Along with his IRP executive responsibilities, Jared Wright is also the CEO of Massy Stores (Barbados) Ltd. the largest supermarket retail chain in Barbados.

Prior to his appointment as the SVP of the Massy IRP in Barbados and CEO of Massy Stores, Wright was most recently the CEO of Massy Distribution (Barbados), one of the island’s largest food distributors.

Prior to Massy Distribution, Wright held various executive roles in different organizations, one of note being the post of Chief Operating Office of the largest Credit Union in Barbados with executive responsibility for key operating functions within the Credit Union and immediately prior to that as the Commercial Director of the largest supermarket chain in Barbados with executive responsibility for Supply Chain, Marketing & Customer Service.

Wright holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Management and Information Technology (Double Major & First Class Honors) from the University of the West Indies and a Masters of Business Administration (Merit) from the University of Bradford.

Wright brings with him significant experience and expertise in strategic planning and execution, business restructuring, turnaround strategies and optimizing the use of technology and analytics in strategy execution. He is a proven leader with a track record for creating a culture of accountability and performance.
